Pastors urged to be Ambassadors of Christ

The Head Pastor of the Bread of Life Movement in Kumasi, Evangelist Diana Afriyie has urged pastors to focus on winning more souls for Christ instead of chasing for wealth.

She believes that the core responsibility of pastor is to be an ambassador of God not for wealth

She admonished them not to allow themselves to be influence by fake pastors who had chosen to divert from the rightful path that leads to eternal life.

This came to light at the 20th graduation and ordination ceremony of All Saints Bible Institute (ASBI) under the theme: “Go and Make Disciples of all Nations(Mathew 28:19)” held at Assemblies of God Church at Kaase over the weekend.

Rev. Louis Adjei, the Director of ASBI said, the institution which was established in 2012 has the vision to train church workers like prayer warriors, counselors, ushers, evangelists, deliverance team, administrators, pastors and reverend ministers.

He noted that, the ASBI could now boost of about 120 pastors both home and abroad.

He cautioned the granduants not to depart from the hallmark of their predecessors which includes holiness, discipline, honesty and fear of God.

Rev. Adjei promised to revoke the license of graduate who would misconduct himself or herself.

He advised the congregation to embrace the government plans to combat crime through the Ghana Police Service dubbed “See Something Say Something”, by reporting crime in their communities without fear.

Rev. Patrick Owusu, the students’ representative in his address commended the management of ASBI for their good advice, counseling and guidance which resulted in successful completion their course.

On behalf of his colleagues, he assured the school authorities, they would live life that would bring glory to God.
