Hon. Patrick Kwame Frimpong, the Assembly Member for Krofofrom East Electoral Area and Presiding Member of the Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly (KMA), has made history by securing a third consecutive term as Dean of the Conference of Presiding Members in the Ashanti Region.
Hon. Frimpong was re-elected last Friday at the Miklin Hotel in Kumasi during a conference of Presiding Members from Metropolitan, Municipal and District Assemblies (MMDAs) across the region.
His latest victory marks a significant milestone in the history of the conference, as it is the first time a member has successfully retained the position for three consecutive terms.
The development has been described as an indication of the confidence the various Presiding Members continue to repose in his leadership, experience and ability to champion their collective interests.
