The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of PIWAK Natural Health, Dr Prince Nelson Mortoti, has urged people who regularly experience itching after bathing to pay attention to the condition and seek medical advice rather than ignoring it.
According to Dr Mortoti, persistent or unusual itching after bathing could be associated with a number of underlying factors and should therefore be properly assessed by a qualified health professional.
He advised individuals who experience recurrent itching, particularly when the condition persists or is accompanied by other symptoms, to visit a health facility for proper examination and medical advice.
Do not self-diagnose.
Dr Mortoti cautioned the public against relying solely on self-diagnosis when dealing with persistent skin irritation.
He explained that itching can have several possible causes, including skin dryness, sensitivity to bathing products, allergic reactions and other medical conditions. He, therefore, encouraged people experiencing persistent symptoms to consult health professionals to determine the actual cause.
He said early attention to unusual symptoms could help individuals receive appropriate treatment and prevent an underlying condition from becoming more complicated.
Call for healthy lifestyles.
Dr Mortoti also encouraged members of the public to pay greater attention to healthy living, including proper personal hygiene, adequate hydration and the use of bathing products that are suitable for their skin.
He advised people who notice that particular soaps, creams or other products trigger itching to seek professional advice and consider avoiding products that cause irritation.
PIWAK’s recommendation.
Dr Mortoti, in discussing measures that could support general wellness, also encouraged members of the public to consider 3P Garlic Mixture, a product of PIWAK Natural Health.
He said the product is made from garlic and is promoted by the company as part of its natural-health products.
However, he stressed the importance of seeking appropriate medical attention when symptoms persist rather than relying exclusively on herbal or natural products.
Health experts generally advise that people with unexplained or persistent itching should be assessed according to their individual symptoms and medical history before treatment is selected.
Public urged to seek medical attention
Dr Mortoti consequently appealed to the public to take unusual or persistent changes in their bodies seriously.
He said people should avoid prolonged self-medication and should seek professional medical advice whenever a symptom persists, becomes severe or is accompanied by other concerning signs.
He further called for increased public education on common health complaints and encouraged individuals to adopt preventive health practices as part of efforts to improve their overall well-being.
The CEO said PIWAK Natural Health would continue to educate the public on health and wellness while encouraging consumers to make informed decisions about their health.
