The Leadership of the NPP Medical Team’s attention has been drawn to a statement issued by a group calling itself “The caucus of NPP- KATH”. To put it bluntly, there is no such group at KATH. It’s just a desperate attempt by some NDC group behind Dr. Baffour Awuah and dreaming of pushing him to such a sensitive position in government, so they can machinate their evil plots against the NPP government and the good people of Ghana. Anyway, just a rhetoric, why is it that this so called caucus of NPP did not jubilate over the appointment of their CEO (Dr. Oheneba Owusu Danso) but rather seem to be solidly behind the appointment of Dr. Baffour Awuah as DG-GHS? What is their agenda and what do they stand to benefit? The group is just one of Dr. Baffour Awuah’s communist inferior tactics to deceive the appointing authority and the good people of NPP into believing him as an NPP member. We still demand for answers to the questions we asked him in our earlier write up, we are also challenging Dr. Baffour Awuah to prove his membership with video and photographic evidence of him at any NPP program.
The supposed group made mention of not knowing the chairman of NPP medical team at KATH, it does not surprise us if NDC group says they don’t know the chairman of NPP Medical Team and that’s no news that should worry our cognitive functions in anyway. This so called group “the caucus of NPP-KATH” should call Dr. Oheneba Owusu Danso-KATH CEO that is if they know him, who is Mr. Albert Opoku (Deputy Chief Health Tutor, MPhil physiology, B.Sc. Nursing-UG, FGCNM, certificate in Minimally Invasive Surgical Techniques- Shandong Province foreign trade vocational institute China, Currently a PhD student in Medical physiology at Adesh university-India). In their purported statement, they made mention of adopting polling station during the 2016 elections. We deem this statement counterfeiting because in 2016 election, our campaign manager Mr. Peter Mac Manu openly said it at Okaishie drug lane when we were launching the campaign. Flagging it from this point, this so called ‘’the caucus of NPP- KATH’’ only wants to fly with that strategy and camouflage themselves as NPP members. We challenge them to mention all the polling stations they adopted, the role they played for NPP there, the polling station chairmen at these stations and the regions these polling stations are located. Contrary to their claims NPP Medical Team didn’t just adopt polling stations but adopted constituencies too and also worked in over 5 regions in Ghana, notable among the constituencies we adopted and worked were; Bunkprugu, Juaboso, Akim Oda, Sefwi Akontombra, Fomena, Tepa, New Edubiase, Asutifi South, etc. For reference sake, can this group show us pictures/videos of them performing or working in any NPP program or reference any known party executive who has witnessed their work or work with them before or which of the numerous conferences have they been present to support NPP party as medical staff/group of whatever kind. The NPP Medical Team can boldly state they are always present in all party functions to render medical support to the party, name them; The Ashanti regional Delegates conference, CCB auditorium-KNUST, The National Delegate conference-cape coast, The extraordinary delegates conference-heroes park, Kumasi, The Ashanti regional delegates conference – Ejura and The national delegates conference -Koforidua Ashanti regional youth conference, free medical care at President’s constituency at Apedwa on his birthday this year 2019…etc. We have videos and photographic evidence to support all the above and we challenge this so called group to show us their records in NPP. The NPP Medical Team has a tall list of patrons and party executives who have worked with us and can testify our commitment to the party and our credibility ; from Dr. Anthony Nsiah Asare, Dr. Oheneba Owusu Danso-CEO KATH, Chairman Freddy Blay, Chairman Wontumi, Dr. Ibrahim Anyars, Lawyer Henry Nana Boakye, Hon. Nelson Owusu Ansah, Dr. Gideon Boako, Mr Stephen Amoah, Lawyer Justin Koduah etc. In fact, the NPP Medical Team has it membership all over the 16 regions and in every district in Ghana and not KATH alone. We have Ashanti regional chapter, Brong regional chapter, Eastern regional chapter, Ahafo regional chapter, Northern Regional Chapter, Central Regional Chapter and Greater Accra regional Chapters with other chapters being set up. In Ashanti region, the chapter there has always partnered with NPP loyal ladies in several programs while at national level the NPP Medical Team always works with Eagle Eye International in all the regions in Ghana. The NPP Medical Team can states on authority that there is no such health group called “The caucus of NPP” at KATH and the only health group which the Ashanti Regional Organizer, Mr. Francis Adomako (Francoir) and the KATH- CEO can both confirm is, Patriotic Health Workers Confederacy (PAHWEC) which the indefatigable Chairman of NPP Medical Team Chair’s them as well. The advice we have for Dr. Baffour Awuah is he should just eat the humble pie rather than resorting to this diabolic tactics of allowing his cronies hide behind this diseased “the caucus group” and perpetrating such falsehood.
