Mr David Ankomah, an Action People’s Party Parliamentary Candidate for the Akwatia Constituency in the Eastern Region, is poised to make a total transformation if he wins the upcoming by-election in September, following the death of Hon. Ernest Yaw Kumi, the late Member of Parliament for the area.
David Ankomah, a nurse at the Akwatia Government Hospital, is ready to make a better livelihood for everyone in the constituency if he is given the nod.
Speaking to the media about why he is contesting for the position, he made it clear that Akwatia has been neglected by both NPP and NDC governments for a long time, so it is about time a representative from another political party is given the chance to represent them in Parliament to lobby for more developmental projects to make life better for the constituents.
As a young man, he believes in unity, togetherness, lobbying for development, and thinking about the well-being of the people.
Though he sympathizes with the family of the late Yaw Kumi, he believes that if he is elected as the next MP, Akwatia will see a lot of development and total transformation.
