Safety and Discipline in Schools: Ashanti Regional minister ,NaSIA Discuss Key Issues

Dr. Frank Amoakohene, Ashanti Regional Minister, met with the regional leadership of the National Schools Inspectorate Authority (NaSIA) to discuss crucial matters affecting the region’s education sector.

The meeting focused on enhancing teaching and learning standards, as well as addressing pressing concerns about discipline and safety in schools.

The discussion emphasized the importance of maintaining high educational standards in the region’s schools.

NaSIA’s role in regulating and inspecting schools was highlighted as crucial in ensuring quality education.

The recent shooting incident at Adventist SHS and the resulting injuries were thoroughly examined.

The meeting explored ways to strengthen preventive measures and create a safer, more disciplined learning environment for students.

Dr. Amoakohene commended NaSIA for their commitment to upholding educational standards and pledged his support for their initiatives.

He emphasized the importance of collaboration between the regional government and NaSIA to protect and improve the future of the region’s young people .

The National Schools Inspectorate Authority (NaSIA) is an autonomous agency under the Ministry of Education, responsible for regulating and inspecting pre-tertiary educational institutions in Ghana.
