The Deputy Constituency Communication Officer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Trobu Constituency, Comrade Teddy Mawuli Malba, has officially declared his intention to contest for the position of Constituency Communication Officer, pledging to strengthen the party’s communication structure and enhance its public engagement.
Announcing his decision in a press statement, Mr. Malba said his decision to seek the mandate of delegates was driven by his commitment to building a vibrant, professional and responsive communication team capable of effectively projecting the achievements and policies of the NDC government.
According to him, strategic communication remains one of the most important tools for promoting the party’s vision, countering misinformation and strengthening the relationship between the party and the electorate.
He explained that, if elected, he would pursue an inclusive communication agenda that embraces innovation, teamwork and digital engagement to ensure that information from the party reaches members and the general public promptly and accurately.
Mr. Malba said his administration would focus on empowering communication officers at the branch level through regular training, improved coordination and the effective use of digital platforms to enhance grassroots mobilisation.
He stressed that strengthening communication at the constituency and branch levels would position the Trobu Constituency as a model for effective political communication within the NDC.
“Our communication must be loud, smart and active around the clock. Through effective communication, we can consolidate our gains, project the achievements of the government and strengthen the party ahead of future electoral contests,” he stated.
The aspiring Communication Officer also pledged to work closely with constituency executives, branch officers, youth organisers, women’s organisers and other party functionaries to promote unity and ensure a coordinated communication strategy.
He noted that effective communication would not only help highlight government programmes and policies but also provide timely responses to issues affecting the party and the country.
Mr. Malba appealed to delegates in the Trobu Constituency to support his candidature, assuring them of dedicated leadership, transparency and hard work in advancing the communication agenda of the party.
He expressed confidence that with the collective support of party members, the Trobu Constituency could become a benchmark for innovative, proactive and professional political communication within the National Democratic Congress.
