Kenneth Kwame Asamoah, Acting National Chairman of United Progressive Party has supported Kumawu-Dadease Electoral Area in Sekyere Kumawu district of the Ashanti region with PPEs to fight the dreaded Coronavirus Pandemic in the area.
Items donated included pieces of nose masks etc.
The donation was made after the assembly member of the area Mr.Kofi Adade officially called on the affable chairman to support him to help prevent the diseases from his area.
The donation was made yesterday at the UPP’s regional office in Kumasi.
Speaking to Mr.Kofi Adade , assembly member of the area and a senior reporter of Kumasi based Oyerepa fm after the donation,he noted that,he planned organizing health program for mothers in his area amidst mothers’ day celebration tommorow but because of the social distancing Directives by the president of the Republic the event has been halted.
He told the UPP Acting National Chairman that the health Items would be distributed accordingly and thanked him for the donation.
