Member of Parliament for Asawase Constituency in the Ashanti Region, Hon Muntaka Mubarak has urged members of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) to stay united for victory in election 2024.
Speaking at the inauguration and orientation of Zongo Caucus Coordinators in the Ashanti Region, he said the only way NDC could prevent the ruling government from breaking the eight year rule is to be focused and match forward towards the development of the party.
The former Minority Chief Whip was of the view that, nothing in the country could prevent the NDC from winning the 2024 election, but indicated that it could only be achieved when members forgive each other of wrong doing and stay determined to block the eight year oppressors rules.
Hon Muntaka encouraged members to fight hard for victory 2024 because members would stand to benefit from their sweat unlike the previous NDC administrations where some members who suffered for victory 2009 to 2012 were left unattended to.
“Former President John Dramani Mahama has learned his lessons and mistakes and wouldn’t be repeated after victory 2024.
John Dramani Mahama is poised to better the lives of members who will be contributing their quota in election 2024,” he noted.
Hon Muntaka, however, tasked members of the party to talk to their relatives, family members as well as friends as to why they need to vote for John Dramani Mahama and the NDC.
“Election 2024 is not about John Dramani Mahama and the NDC, not about me Muntaka as an MP, not about the Ashanti Regional chairman, Nana Kwasi but your welfare and the future generations yet unborn,” he asserted.
