Mr. Jones Anyamesem, the constituency secretary of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Kwabre East of the Ashanti region, has reminded the governing party to prioritize and address the welfare of the grassroots ,especially youth in the country in making the breaking the eight (8) slogan a mere formality come 2024 presidential and parliamentary elections.
The constituency secretary who is vying to maintain the position was of the viewed that the youth especially the grassroots in the country are the backbone of every elections and for that matter play a vital role, hence should not be underestimate with regard to government policies and programmes.
Speaking to the media, he stated that, the welfare of the grassroots and the youths always has his prior desire as a constituency secretary over the years, hence he is always having a good relationship and welcoming of the youth spirit as his hallmarks which pull people towards him and the NPP party in the constituency.
He made a passionate appealed to government appointees and policy makers to prioritize youth friendly policies that could address youth welfare especially programmes that are gearing towards youth unemployment to safe the ruling NPP government in the upcoming 2024 elections to break the eight (8).
He stressed that, It is highly prudent on the side of Kwabre East Constituency and the other constituencies to maintain Executives of his calibre with the capacity to garners the youth on the ground to energies the party in achieving the record setting to break the eight.
