Dr Yaw Boadi Mensah, Chief Executive Officer of Boadi Herbal Clinic at Agona in Sekyere South District Assembly of the Ashanti Region has been honoured as Most Innovative Herbal practitioner 2020 by Institute of Sustainable Environment and Public Health and World Diplomatic Federation on Monday December 20, 2020.
The honorary follows an intensive research conducted by the Institute which Boadi Mensah was crowned as Most Innovative Herbal practitioner of the year 2020.
The research also has it that Dr Boadi Mensah is outstanding in treating extreme diseases with herbal products which the medical practitioners could not treat.
Presenting the award, Executive Chairman for Institute of Sustainable Environment and Public health, Nana Dei Bronii lauded Dr. Boadi
for his significant input in the herbal industry.
He said the award forms part of the Institute mission to outdoor local herbal practitioners and products to the international market.
Nana Dei Bronii took the opportunity and called on government to contribute their support to the herbal practitioners. Added that such motivation from the government will boost herbal practitioners confidence to give out their best.
Dr Boadi who could not hide his joy when receiving the award praised the Institute for such prestigious honorary.
He futher commended the institute for their step taken to assist the herbal industry.
CEO of Boadi Herbal Clinic advised his fellow practitioners to prioritized in giving needed medication to citizens than thinking of money.
His view was that, they are some corrupt herbal doctors who are ruining the herbal industry. Dr Boadi underlined that, to be a herbal doctor is calling from divinity, hence, it would be better for those who lack the gifts and talents to engage in different job rather than tarnishing the image of the traditional healing.
