The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Solani Global Limited, dealers in building materials, Mr. Solomon Aniah, has organised a party for widows and orphans in Bibiani in the Western North Region.
The event brought together about 600 widows and orphans at a colourful party held at Solani Montessori school premises in Bibiani.
Mr. Solomon Aniah dined with his guests and distributed Christmas package to them after the party.
His package for his guests included bags of rice, cooking oil, mackerel, 50 pieces of clothes, breaded T-shirt and an undisclosed amount of money for their transportation to their various destinations.
To him, Christmas was all about showing love, being kind and showing affection saying, ” there is no other way of showing love than to bring together the widows and orphans and make them happy.
He told them they important members of society, therefore, they should see themselves as such.
Speaking to the media after the programme, Mr. Solomon Aniah popularly known as Solani said his decision to organised the party was to put smiles on the faces of the widows and orphans in this yulitide.
Mr. Aniah admonished the windows and orphans not to be discouraged by their present situation, rather, they work hard and should have faith in the Lord to workout thing for their good.
He called on the public to support his businesses so that he could give back to society at all times.
The beneficiaries who could not hide their joy over the package praised their host for his kind gesture and appealed to the public to support his businesses to excel.
