The project which is being sponsored by the world bank and the Ministry of Sanitation and Water Resources assembled some key stakeholders such as the project consultant, the contractors and selected staff of the Municipal Assembly including the MCE, the planing officer and the Coordinating Director to dialogue on the smooth implementation of the project.

Some of the beneficiary institutions included Prempeh Experimental school, SDA HOSPITAL, Municipal Education Office, Apatrapa M/A Basic Schools as well as Kwadaso M/A Basic Schools.

Mr.Gabriel Ennoman at the project coordinating unit at the Ministry of Sanitation disclosed to journalists in an interaction that ,the project when completed would be used by the beneficiary institutions for a period of three months until it is proven that it has no defects after which it would be officially handed over to the institutions.

He urged the contractors to deliver a quality job as he called for effective supervision from the consultant.

According to Mr. Annoman ;the sanitation ministry headed by Hon Cecilia Abena Dapaah is committed to ensuring an open defecation free Ghana through the implementation of household and  institutional toilet facilities across the nation.

Meanwhile the Municipal Chief Executive for Kwadaso, Hon Richmond Agyenim Boateng was grateful to the government for selecting his area as part of the beneficiaries.

He however sounded a word of caution to recalcitrant households within the municipality who do not have toilet facilities at home to brace themselves to face full rigors of the law.
