Dr Samuel Sarpong, National Vice Chairman of the largest opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) has advised the communicators of the party to prioritize research before they go on -air.

An accurate, reliable, and authentic message through research, he said, will not only enable voters to develop trust in the communicators and the party but also persuade the voters to vote for the NDC.

He noted that if the voters observed inaccuracies in the intended message communicated to them, they would develop distrust and loss of confidence as well as loss of credibility in the communicators.

Dr Samuel Sarpong was speaking at the opening session of a two-day communication workshop organized for NDC communicators in the Ashanti region held in Kumasi on December 2-3, 2023 at TUC.

He urged the leadership of the party to support the communicators with reliable and accurate information as well as counsel them to enable the communicators to sound authentic and accurate.

This, Dr Sarpong said, will enable the NDC to communicate its message accurately to persuade voters to vote massively for the party come the 2024 general election to win the poll.

He said the party is poised to provide its communicators the needed resources and tools for effective and accurate communication.
