A leading contender for the First National Vice Chairman position of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Bernard Amofa Jantuah, has assured party faithful that his ambition is driven by service and commitment rather than financial gain.

According to him, should he be elected, he would use his influence, experience and extensive network to mobilise support for the party’s regional activities instead of depending solely on the national leadership to raise funds.

Speaking during his campaign engagements, Mr. Amofa Jantuah stated that his vision is to build a stronger, more united and better-resourced NPP capable of reclaiming political power.

“I am not going to sit for the national leadership to raise money for the regions’ activities. With my influence, I will support all out,” he declared.

The First Vice Chairman hopeful explained that the regional structures remain the engine of the party’s electoral machinery and therefore deserve continuous support to strengthen grassroots mobilisation, membership expansion and organisational activities.

He stressed that effective national leadership must be proactive in providing resources and strategic direction to the regions, adding that every region should be empowered to execute its programmes without unnecessary financial constraints.

Mr. Amofa Jantuah said his administration would work closely with regional executives, constituency officers and polling station executives to ensure the party remains vibrant across the country.

He also pledged to champion unity within the NPP, insisting that internal cohesion is essential for the party’s preparations towards future elections.

According to him, rebuilding the party requires leaders who are accessible, resourceful and committed to the welfare of members at every level.

He emphasised that his leadership style would focus on collaboration, inclusiveness and practical support, noting that the success of the NPP depends largely on the strength of its grassroots structures.

Mr. Amofa Jantuah therefore appealed to delegates to entrust him with the mandate to serve as First National Vice Chairman, promising to complement the work of the national executives by ensuring regional branches receive the support needed to effectively carry out party activities.

He maintained that with unity, strategic leadership and sustained support for the grassroots, the NPP would emerge stronger and better positioned for future electoral victories.
