The District Chief Executive (DCE) for Ahafo Ano South-West in the Ashanti Region, Mr. Abubakar Sedik, has pledged to donate one month’s salary to reward the three best workers of the Ahafo Ano South West District Assembly at the end of 2025.
This gesture was announced during a staff durbar held on Wednesday, July 9, 2025, at Mankranso, the District capital.
Mr. Sedik’s donation aims to motivate workers to excel in their duties and contribute to the development of the District. He tasked the District Coordinating Director to establish a committee to select the three best workers, who will share the DCE’s one month’s salary.
The DCE urged workers to be punctual and avoid habitual absenteeism, emphasizing the importance of dedication and hard work in achieving the District’s development goals. “I am here to empower you to do your best for the development of our people,” he stated.
By donating one month’s salary, the DCE demonstrates his commitment to recognizing and rewarding the hard work and dedication of the Assembly’s staff. This gesture is expected to boost worker morale and productivity, ultimately contributing to the District’s development.
