Alfred Obeng Boateng vows to increase NPP votes in Bibiani Anwianso Bekwai

The New Patriotic Party (NPP) parliamentary candidate for Bibiani Anwianso Bekwai constituency in the Western North Region, Mr. Alfred Obeng Boateng has promised to retain the seat for the party and also increase votes of party’s presidential candidate, Nana Akufo-Addo come December 7 general elections.

“I will urge my supporters and that of my opponent in the race to increase votes for our presidential candidate Nana Akufo-Addo and maintain power”, he assured during his victory speech to NPP party supporters in the Constituency.

The former Bulk Oil Storage and Transportation (BOST) Chief Executive Officer (CEO) defeated the incumbent Member of Parliament (MP) who doubles as the Western North Regional Minister, Mr. Kingsley Aboagye Gyedu in the just ended NPP parliamentary primaries

Mr. Alfred Obeng Boateng polled 580 votes as against his contender and incumbent MP who had 188 votes with 17 absentee delegates.

Speaking to journalists, the former CEO of BOST called for unity among the delegates ahead of December 7 polls while thanking the entire delegates and party members for their unflinching support.

“I am so grateful to all and sundry, to the party hierarchy, as well as the delegates who have made this battle a successful one, but let us unite to fight our biggest opponent the NDC come December 7″.
