Ashanti Region Council of State Elections: Nana Adwoa Foriwaa Debunks Withdrawal Rumors

Nana Adwoa Foriwaa, the Queen mother of Nsuta Fuaman Traditional Area in the Ashanti Region , has reaffirmed her candidacy for the Ashanti Regional Council of State representative position, dispelling rumors of her withdrawal. As one of the 12 contestants, including 10 men and two women, she is determined to bring a fresh perspective to the role.

The election, scheduled for February 11, will see 86 assembly members from 43 district assemblies casting their votes to elect the regional representative. Nana Adwoa Foriwaa has urged voters to rely on credible sources for information, dismissing rumors of her withdrawal as misinformation.

As a candidate, Nana Adwoa Foriwaa has expressed concerns about the Ashanti Region’s neglect in terms of development. She has pledged to advise the President to allocate the region’s fair share of development projects if elected.

Nana Adwoa Foriwaa’s participation in the election is significant, as it brings a much-needed female perspective to a role that has been dominated by men. Her confidence and determination make her a strong contender for the position.
