The Ashanti Regional Minister, Dr. Frank Amoakohene, has led a high-level engagement with key party stakeholders in the region, as part of efforts to strengthen internal cohesion and prepare for an upcoming reorganisation exercise.
The meeting, which brought together the Ashanti Regional Chairman, Augustus Andrews Nana Kwasi, the Ashanti Regional Political Coordinator, Isham Yaw Alhassan, alongside their deputies, regional executives, Metropolitan, Municipal and District Chief Executives (MMDCEs), served as an open and interactive platform for dialogue.
Also in attendance were Constituency Executives, Ward Coordinators, and members of the Council of Elders, reflecting a broad-based participation across all levels of the party’s structure.
Discussions during the forum focused on the impending reorganisation, with strong emphasis placed on the need for unity, discipline, and a shared sense of purpose among members. Participants were encouraged to remain committed to the core values of the party while working collectively towards its long-term goals.
Dr.Frank Amoakohene used the opportunity to provide updates on key government interventions and ongoing development projects across the Ashanti Region. He reiterated government’s commitment to improving the socio-economic conditions of residents through targeted policies and programmes.
Concerns raised by participants were also addressed, with leadership acknowledging the importance of grassroots input in shaping effective strategies. The forum further explored practical avenues for enhancing livelihoods and strengthening the party’s structures at the local level.
