The Ashanti Regional Minister, Dr. Frank Amoakohene, has expressed his gratitude to MTN Ghana for their significant sponsorship of the Ashanti Konnect Concert Musical Festival , a key event in the Ashantifest 2025 celebrations.

According to Dr. Amoakohene, the Ashanti Regional Coordinating Council deliberately avoided using public funds to sponsor the festival to avoid criticism of extravagant spending.

Dr. Amoakohene praised MTN for their support, stating that the Ashanti region has come to accept MTN as a preferred telecommunication network partner.

He specifically thanked MTN for providing a special bundle (*141* Ashantifest 2025 bundle) and promised to buy MTN SIM cards for anyone without one to show appreciation for their support.

Furthermore, 66 inmates on the amnesty list were to be presented to the President for possible presidential pardon.

The Ashantifest 2025 celebrations were a resounding success, thanks in part to the partnership between the Ashanti Regional Coordinating Council and MTN Ghana.
