The Ashanti Regional Police Command has invited the media to a briefing on the arrest of two suspected robbers, scheduled for December 15, 2025, at 9:00 am at the M.A. Alhassan conference hall.
According to sources, the police have arrested four suspects in connection with an armed robbery incident at Ofoase Kokobeng, near Anwiankwanta, where the victim, Aliu Mohammed, was robbed of gold, a mobile phone, cash, a pump-action gun, and his Toyota Camry Spider (GR 8009-15) on December 8, 2025.
The suspects, identified as Salifu Adamu (alias Scorpion), 25, Abdul Latif (alias Bullet), 20, Samed Abdulai, 40, and Ali Mustapha, 30, were arrested between December 9 and 10, 2025, at Tweapease .
The Regional Commander, DCOP Joseph Hammond Nyaaba, will lead the media briefing, providing further details on the arrests and the ongoing investigations.
This development demonstrates the police command’s commitment to combating crime and ensuring public safety in the region.
