Candidates who contested for Atwima Nwabiagya North Parliamentary seat in the NDC’s 2024 primaries have buried their difference for the party’s victory come 2024 general election.

Division erupted among them after the primaries, characterized by a heat of discomfort among executives and party members.

A clean-up exercise held at Adankwame by Mr. Mba Zakari; current parliamentary candidate facilitated bringing onboard all the 2024 candidates as they partook in the exercise.

The move aimed at ensuring unity and a heightened committment among them for the progress of the party.

Speaking after the exercise, the Parliamentary Candidate made it clear that unity is the only tool that can help NDC win power from the NPP.

According to him , it’s high time members put an end to factions, stay united and wrestle power from the unproductive Member of Parliament for the area, Benito Owusu Bio who doubles as the Deputy Minister for Lands and Natural Resources.

Adding his voice, Mr Richard Badu, who is otherwise known as “Manager”; one of the unsuccessful aspirants pledged to support.

Speaking to party members during the exercise, Chairman Dickson Zogar, Atwima Nwabiagya North Constituency Chairman said the party can only win power with a united front.
