The Ashanti Regional Secretariat of the National Democratic Congress, headed by Prof.Kwame Zu has urged its members, sympathizers and the general public to go out without fear and register in the ongoing new voter’s registration exercise by the electoral commission.
The Regional Secretariat assured all eligible persons that they would be supported and protected to register without hindrance.
” We use this opportunity to caution all stakeholders to eschew intimidation, attempts of exclusion and suppression.
We also encourage all persons who are intimidated, prevented or frustrated in their attempt to register at any centre in the region to call 0560151395 or 0244296796 for immediate assistance.
In all these, do know that we are with you. Never accept you are not Ghanaian, never accept intimidation and never accept to be oppressed.He concluded .
