Information circulating on social media has it that Mmrante3hene Of Sompa FM is dead.
The veteran  media practitioner, Mmrantiehene Yeboah Afari ,‘Ketekyew’ affectionately called,  according to reports gathered by this portal died this morning, Saturday, September 17, 2022.
Checks by Broadcastergh.com  unearthed that, death has been communicated to his colleagues at Sompa on their social media platforms including the staff WhatsApp group.
His death comes as a shock to the inky fraternity, especially ,Kumasi media.
Mmerantiehene officially joined the newly-established Kumasi-based Sompa FM after leaving Fox FM.
Having spent barely nine years at Fox FM, Man 88’ joined other top radio presenters at the Suame-based station as part of a crack core of presenters to ensure the station finds its feet.
He was the host of the station’s social, religious and family ties evening programme from 7pm to 10pm each weekday.
Previously, Mmrantiehene worked with OTEC FM, New Mercury before joining Fox FM in 2013.
