COKA mourns with families of burnt police Officer and wife

A leading member of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Ashanti Region, chairman Odeneho Kwaku Appiah popularly known as COKA on Saturday January 28, 2023 joined the families of the police officer who perished in a fire outbreak with his wife to lay them to rest.

Chairman Odeneho Kwaku Appiah led a delegation which included some senior officers of the Ghana Police Service, relatives, friends, some party members to Adomfe in the Asante Akyem South Municipality of the Ashanti Region to support the bereaved families and bid farewell to the deceased .

35-year-old Sergeant Owusu Asante Baafi(Anti robbery unit of the Ashanti Region police), his 32-year-old wife, Millicent Akyaa Agyei and his three months old baby boy, Samuel Kwabena Baafi Nyamedo all died in the fire outbreak that gutted the police barracks.

The fire incident happened at Apromase in the Ejisu Municipality of the Ashanti Region.

Inspector General of Police (IGP) Dr. George Akufo Dampare, top politicians, business moguls and many other people from all file and ranks joined the bereaved family to pay their last respect to the late officer, his late wife and his late child at his hometown Adomfe.
