The president of the republic,Nana Addo Dankwah Akufo-Addo has been admonished to fix Asanteman as the region deserves better when it comes to the sharing of the National cake.
Speaking on ‘Tontonsansan’ show,a political talk show hosted by Nana Antwi Bosiako on Kingdom fm ,Nana Agyenim Boateng (Gyataba) Founder and leader of United Front Party noted that,President Akufo-Addo who got alot of votes in the Ashanti region doesn’t think about the welfare of Asanteman , rather play on their intelligence and deceive them for votes .
According to him,any developmental project in the Ashanti region was done by the previous NDC government who even get less votes in the Ashanti region during general elections.
He revealed that,since Nana Addo Dankwah Akufo-Addo won power and became the president of this country, Asanteman has never seen development.
“Nana Addo kept deceiving the people of Asanteman with developmental projects but we never see them happening.In the year 2018,Nana Addo promised constructing an interchange at Suame roundabout and that of Oforikrom and it’s about three years now nothing has happened.”
“Looking at this lies coupled with arrogance and impunity ,Nana Addo has no respect for Asanteman .It’s about time Asanteman should let NPP know that they can’t be taken for fools.
Asanteman equally deserves better.We have sacrificed alot for the NPP yet they don’t recognize our effort” .He further stated on kingdom fm .
