A hopeful for the Atwima Nwabiagya North Constituency Secretary position of the NDC , Lambert Akandoe Nchobire, has pledged to introduce strategic reforms and modernise the administration of the constituency to strengthen the party’s grassroots structures and enhance its prospects of electoral victory.
Mr Akandoe Nchobire said effective party administration required a clear vision, strategic planning and an unwavering commitment to the grassroots, stressing that a strong constituency organisation could only be achieved through efficient coordination and dedicated service.
According to him, his decision to contest the constituency secretary position was motivated by his desire to contribute to the growth and development of the party and help build a more effective and formidable constituency structure.
Speaking to The Punch Newspaper,Mr Akandoe Nchobire said one of his major priorities, if given the mandate, would be to modernise the secretarial operations of the constituency.
He explained that modern and efficient administrative systems were essential to ensuring that information was properly managed, communication was timely and party activities were effectively coordinated.
He said the constituency secretariat must become a functional hub capable of supporting the leadership, branches and grassroots members in the discharge of their responsibilities.
The hopeful also promised to strengthen coordination among the various branches within the constituency to ensure that the party’s programmes and strategies reached members at the grassroots.
Grassroots Focus
Mr Akandoe Nchobire emphasised the importance of putting the grassroots at the centre of party organisation, arguing that the strength of every political party depended largely on the commitment and mobilisation of its members at the branch and constituency levels.
He said his administration would seek to improve engagement with branch executives and members while promoting teamwork, accountability and effective communication.
According to him, stronger branch coordination would enable the constituency to identify challenges confronting members early and develop appropriate strategies to address them.
He said the objective was to create a well-organised constituency structure in which every branch and member would understand their role in achieving the party’s objectives.
The constituency secretary hopeful said his ultimate goal was to translate sound strategy into electoral success.
“Together, we will transform strategy into decisive victory,” he stated, stressing that victory at the polls required more than campaign-season mobilisation.
He said it required sustained grassroots engagement, strategic planning, disciplined organisation and continuous communication with party members.
Mr Akandoe Nchobire therefore appealed to delegates and party members to support his vision of building a stronger and more coordinated constituency capable of responding effectively to the demands of modern political organisation.
He reiterated his commitment to serving the party and working collectively with constituency, branch and grassroots leaders to achieve their shared objectives.
“I am committed to service and dedicated to our collective progress,” he said.
Mr Akandoe Nchobire is campaigning under the message “Committed to Service. Dedicated to Progress,” with the additional campaign themes “The Strategist” and “Grassroots First.”
