Irate youth of Manso Asamang in the Amansie West District of the Ashanti Region are vehemently kicking against Abusuapanin Kwasi Asiamah who had being the Head of Mamsen family for over eleven years and all of the sudden wants to present himself to be come the substantive chief of Manso Asaman as against their preferred candidate Mr Collins Oppong Mensah.
Mr Joe Asando and Kofi Boakye, leaders of the youth group stated that, Abusuapanin Akwasi Asiamah being the head of the Manso Asaman community for sometime now without a chief has nothing to show in terms of development and could not account to anybody, hence he wouldn’t be the right candidate.
The youth are alleging that, their family head Abusuapanin Akwasi Asiamah is conniving with the king makers including the Queen mother of Mamsen Nana Afia Amoa Boatemaa ll to get his way out to become the substantive chief over the people.
According to them Akwasi Asiamah and his coherence are also conniving with the police guidance and protection to install him illegally, and for that matter are on guide to ensure that, this illegality would not see the light of the day as planned.
The youth also stressed that, as peace loving citizens they may not want to jeopardized the long time peaceful coexistence in the community and are appealing to Otumfuor Osei Tutu II, the Asantehene to as matter of urgency intervene to ensure that the right candidate would be enstooled as substantive chief for the sake of peace and harmony in the community to ensure development and improve the lives of the citizenry.
