MTN Ghana has recently celebrated its top-performing partners, merchants, and agents at the 2025 MTN Mobile Money (MoMo) Dinner and Awards Night held in Kumasi.
The event recognized exceptional contributions to the growth of MTN Mobile Money Limited, with cash prizes and high-value items, including motorbikes, awarded to outstanding recipients.
Speaking at the event, Nii Adotey Mingle, General Manager of MTN Northern Business District, highlighted MTN’s strong partnerships with government and stakeholders, driving innovation and financial inclusion in Ghana’s evolving financial ecosystem. He emphasized MTN’s collaboration with security agencies to address mobile money-related incidents and cautioned customers about fraud risks.
Abdul-Majeed Rufai, Senior Manager for Commercial Mobile Money, announced a nationwide re-registration exercise for mobile money agents, aiming to enhance security and ensure genuine agents operate in a secure ecosystem.
