Supporters of the NDC have projected Chief of Staff, Dr Julius Debrah, as a potential successor to President John Dramani Mahama, citing his leadership qualities, extensive experience in public service and unwavering commitment to national development.

According to the supporters, Dr Julius Debrah has consistently demonstrated resilience and determination throughout his political career, overcoming challenges and contributing significantly to governance and policy implementation.

They argue that effective leadership is not defined by the absence of obstacles but by the ability to confront and overcome them. In their view, Dr Debrah’s journey in public service exemplifies perseverance, dedication and a steadfast focus on achieving results.

Speaking at various political and social gatherings, supporters described him as a leader whose experience in government, coupled with his ability to work across diverse stakeholder groups, positions him favourably for greater responsibilities in the future.

The supporters further expressed confidence that his contributions to governance under the Mahama administration have strengthened his credentials and enhanced his appeal among party members and the wider Ghanaian public.

While acknowledging that discussions regarding future leadership remain premature, they believe Dr Debrah possesses the qualities necessary to sustain ongoing development efforts and advance the country’s progress.

They also called on party faithful to remain united and focused on supporting the government’s agenda, stressing that national development should remain the priority.
