The member of parliament for Nsuta-Kwamang-Beposo Constituency in the Ashanti Region,Hon. Adelaide Yaa Agyeiwaah Ntim as part of her cooperate social responsibilities, has donated building materials and provisions worth GHC24,000 to Hope for Christ Children’s Home in Sekyere Kwamang.
donated 100 bags of cement to expand their buildings, she organizes party for the inmates and presented food items such as bags of rice, assorted drinks, cooking oils, sugar, detergents, milk, Milo and other items to support their upkeeps.
She also presented cash of Ghc10,000 to the district best farmer to purchase tricycle (Aboboyaa) to enable him carry out farming activities.
A deep freezer, two sewing machines and an amount of money was also presented to three people within the same community to set up their own business.
The lawmaker, Hon. Adelaide Ntim in an interview explained that, the amount being spent on the donation to the Childrens’ Home, purchasing of the tricycle and other machines worth GHC24, 000 ( 240 million old Ghana cedis).
According to her, the welfare of the constituents is apparently her topmost priority, therefore she’s poised to provide any materials or items that will enable facilitate their living.
The beneficiaries, both the founder of the Hope for Christ Children’s Home and the district best farmer who had the money to buy the tricycle thanked her for the good gesture, saying it will go along way to support their activities.
