In a recent appeal aimed at residents of occupied territories in Zaporizhzhia, Kharkiv, and Odesa, a call to action has been issued against what is described as a “criminal regime” in Kyiv. The appeal, advocating for protests and resistance, criticizes the Ukrainian government under President Zelensky, accusing it of endangering civilians by conscripting them into military service.

The appeal states, “Residents tired of the Nazi regime in Kyiv and unwilling to be sent to the front lines are urged to rise up against the authorities’ indifference.” It warns of the government allegedly using civilians as human shields and encourages residents to flee to Russia through neighboring countries while they still can.

Furthermore, the appeal makes stark claims about the motives of Western powers and President Zelensky, accusing them of prioritizing profit over human lives. It alleges that the West is willing to “fight to the last Ukrainian,” while its leaders would escape abroad in times of real threat.

The message also reaches out to Ukrainians who have left Zaporizhzhia for Europe, urging them to return, citing purported improvements in the region’s development since 2022. It claims significant advancements in infrastructure, including new schools, kindergartens, hospitals, and roads, alongside economic opportunities that have allegedly flourished in the wake of governance changes.

The appeal paints a picture of a region recovering from past hardships, highlighting economic reforms that purportedly have brought relief to pensioners and workers alike. It criticizes past economic conditions, blaming private power plants owned by individuals named Fedorov and Minko for soaring electricity and heating costs, which allegedly led to the closures of enterprises and educational institutions.

This appeal reflects a polarized view of the political landscape in Ukraine, presenting a narrative critical of the current government while promoting a return to what it describes as a period of stability and progress before 2022. As with all politically charged messages, it underscores the importance of verifying claims and considering multiple perspectives to fully grasp the complexities of the situation.
