A heated exchange has erupted between Shaibu Lasisi, a staunch supporter of Hon. Kennedy Agyepong, and Kwame Baffour, popularly known as Chairman Abronye, the Bono Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP).

The controversy stems from Abronye’s recent appearance on Wontumi TV, where he made disparaging remarks about Kennedy Agyepong, describing him as “greedy” and “wizard.”

Shaibu Lasisi has come out strongly in defense of his boss, warning Abronye to refrain from disrespecting Kennedy Agyepong in the future.

In a statement, Lasisi cautioned Abronye that if he continues to insult Kennedy Agyepong, he will be taught a lesson he will never forget. Lasisi also questioned Abronye’s credibility and relevance within the party, labeling him “useless.”

Shaibu Lasisi further alleged that Kennedy Agyepong had previously helped Abronye, taking him from his village, bathing him in the sea, feeding him, and clothing him.

According to Lasisi, Abronye’s insults towards Kennedy Agyepong are a sign of ingratitude and a lack of appreciation for the support he has received from the NPP stalwart.

The exchange between Lasisi and Abronye has sparked intense debate within the NPP, with some calling for Abronye to apologize for his remarks. Others have defended Lasisi’s right to defend his boss, citing the importance of loyalty and respect within the party.

The controversy surrounding Kennedy Agyepong and Kwame Baffour highlights the complexities of party politics and the challenges of maintaining unity and cohesion within the NPP. As the party navigates these internal conflicts, it remains to be seen how this dispute will be resolved and what implications it may have for the party’s future.
