South Dayi Constituency NDC Mourns With Togbega Atikpladza Agbiyao XIII

The South Dayi Constituency branch of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) mourned with Togbega Atikpladza Agbiyao XIII, Paramount Chief of the Kpalime Traditional Area during the burial service of his mother.

The delegation which was led by Dr. Johnson Pandit Asiama, Governor of the Bank of Ghana, alongside the Constituency Chairman, Mr. Prince Alex Adoboe, District Chief Executive Courage Kwame Kokroko, and other constituency and branch executives were there to solidarize with the paramount chief, the family and the entire Kpalime traditional area.

Dr. Asiama conveyed greetings from President John Dramani Mahama and the party’s national executives to the bereaved family and the gathering. He highlighted the NDC’s record in managing Ghana’s economy, drastically reducing interest rate, the exchange rate and the inflation rate. He asked for prayers for the government appointees to be of good health to do even more for the country as there are many plans in the pipeline to make life comfortable for the Ghanaian people. The governor also stressed on the importance of unity and collaboration from all leaders within the constituency for developmental projects to be delivered to the constituency. He further expressed solidarity with the bereaved family and reaffirmed the party’s commitment to meeting the needs of the people.

He also pledged to address the community’s pressing challenges, including the construction of the dilapidated road infrastructure, upgrading the health facilities and resolving the water crisis faced by the Kpali and Tongor communities of the South Dayi Constituency.

The delegation observed a minute’s silence for the eight gallant individuals who died in a helicopter crash while on national duty.

Mr. Kokroko assured residents of South Dayi that their concerns would be addressed in partnership with key stakeholders, including Dr. Asiama and South Dayi MP Rockson-Nelson Dafeamekpor.

The NDC leadership used the medium to thank the entire constituency and branch executives, as well as all who contributed to the success of the funeral. by Doreen Kpabo
