Hon Joana Gyan Cudjoe ,Parliamentary Candidate for Amenfi Central constituency in the Western Region on the ticket of the opposition NDC has appealed to community members of Amuni in the said constituency to vote massively for her in the 2024 general elections to provide massive development in the constituency.
She said successive MPs have been given enough time, but woefully failed to meet the expectations of the people.
She made the appeal during a community engagement with the people of Amuni amidst free health screening exercise and donation of sanitary pads by the Joana Gyan Foundation yesterday, and said the people desire for educational facilities, good sanitation , job opportunities and good roads.
According to her, Amenfi Central deserves better than the position it is now. It should by now be compared to other big cities in the Country in terms of development, but has been ranked as one of the remote areas in the Country which she said is rather unfortunate.
Joana Gyan Cudjoe , who has been described as results oriented person by the people of Amenfi Central , said with her track records she could achieve a lot for the area by lobbying for investors to create job opportunities, especially for the youth.
She said if she gets the nod to be in Parliament, she would ensure that the youth are given skills training to be self-dependent and make education a priority by establishing a scholarship scheme for secondary and tertiary students,an initiative she had already started.
Joana Gyan Cudjoe said all these plans could be achieved through private public partnership, to ensure that the people live comfortably and asked the supporters of the NDC in the area to rally solidly behind her and His Excellency John Dramani Mahama to win the 2024 general elections.
She advised constituents to look for the umbrella when they go to the polls to cast their ballot, this she said is the easiest way to locate herself at the number two position and with John Dramani Mahama on the number 8 positions.
She revealed that the umbrella is very important and significant to all humans because every human being needs the umbrella whether rain or shine.
