Daniel Baah Acheamfour, deputy Ashanti regional secretary of the NDC has officially declared his intention to contest for the position of Regional Secretary of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), promising to strengthen the party’s structures and improve internal organisation ahead of future political activities.
Mr. Acheamfour, who describes himself as “The Strategist,” says his decision to seek the office is driven by his commitment to building a more united, disciplined and efficient party capable of consolidating the NDC’s gains in the Ashanti Region.
According to him, the office of the Regional Secretary is critical to the effective administration of the party, stressing that his experience, organisational skills and dedication position him to deliver the leadership needed to move the party forward.
He has pledged to work closely with constituency, branch and ward executives to enhance communication, improve record keeping, strengthen grassroots mobilisation and ensure the smooth implementation of party programmes across the region.
The aspiring Regional Secretary further assured delegates that he would promote transparency, accountability and teamwork in the management of the party’s affairs while creating an inclusive environment where every member’s contribution is valued.
Mr. Acheamfour called on delegates to support his vision, promising to serve with integrity, diligence and unwavering commitment if elected.
His campaign forms part of the build-up to the NDC’s internal regional elections, where delegates will elect new executives to steer the affairs of the party in the Ashanti Region for the next four years .
