Baffour Asare Bediako, popularly known as “Centence,” has officially declared his intention to contest for the position of Ashanti Regional Youth Organiser of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), pledging to rebuild the party’s youth front and restore unity ahead of the 2028 general elections.
Campaigning on the theme “Bringing Back the Love – A Formidable Ashanti Regional Youth Wing,” the aspiring youth organiser says the NPP must rekindle the enthusiasm and commitment of its young members if the party is to regain political power.
According to him, the Ashanti Region remains the electoral heartbeat of the NPP, making it imperative for the youth wing to become more vibrant, united and strategically organised to mobilise supporters across all constituencies.
Baffour Asare Bediako believes that an energetic and well-coordinated youth wing will strengthen grassroots structures, improve communication between party leadership and the youth, and inspire greater participation in party activities.
He has assured delegates and party faithful that, if elected, he will pursue an open-door leadership style that prioritises inclusiveness, teamwork and the welfare of young party members.
The youth organiser hopeful also intends to introduce capacity-building programmes, leadership training, political education and entrepreneurship initiatives aimed at empowering the youth while preparing them for greater responsibilities within the party.
He stressed that rebuilding trust among party members and promoting discipline, loyalty and respect for party structures would be central to his administration.
Baffour Asare Bediako further pledged to work closely with constituency youth organisers, polling station executives and other stakeholders to strengthen grassroots mobilisation and ensure that every young party member has a meaningful role to play in rebuilding the NPP.
As the party prepares for its internal elections, the Ashanti Regional Youth Organiser race is expected to attract keen interest, with aspirants presenting their visions for repositioning the youth wing.
Baffour Asare Bediako says his campaign is driven by the conviction that unity, effective organisation and youth empowerment are essential ingredients for returning the NPP to power, expressing confidence that delegates will endorse his vision of “bringing back the love” and building a formidable Ashanti Regional Youth Wing.
