The Managing Editor of Punch Newspaper, Mr. Ayisah Foster, has praised the Chief of Staff at the Presidency, Hon. Julius Debrah, for what he described as his exceptional humility despite his vast political experience and years of service at the highest levels of government.
According to Mr. Foster, Hon.Julius Debrah has witnessed and experienced almost every aspect of political leadership in Ghana, having served under former Presidents Jerry John Rawlings, the late Prof. John Evans Atta Mills, former President John Dramani Mahama, and currently under President Mahama’s administration as Chief of Staff.
Speaking on the leadership qualities of the seasoned politician, Mr.Ayisah Foster noted that although Hon. Julius Debrah occupies one of the most influential positions in government, he continues to remain humble and approachable, a trait he said has earned him admiration from both local and international circles.
“Hon. Julius Debrah has seen and experienced it all in politics, yet he remains humble. It is not easy to maintain such humility amidst power, influence, and privilege,” he stated.
Mr.Ayisah Foster further indicated that the National Democratic Congress (NDC), as it prepares toward the 2028 general elections, would need a leader who possesses humility, leadership qualities, and a deep understanding of governance similar to President John Dramani Mahama.
In his view, Hon. Julius Debrah stands tall among the possible contenders within the party and has the qualities required to continue the leadership legacy of President Mahama.
“Among all the possible contestants, Hon. Julius Debrah has the qualities to succeed President Mahama and can become President of the Republic in 2028,” he asserted.
Mr.Ayisah Foster added that the Chief of Staff deserves celebration and commendation for remaining grounded despite his achievements and political influence.
He emphasized that Hon. Debrah’s consistency, humility, and dedication to public service are reasons why he continues to remain relevant and respected in Ghana’s political landscape.
“No wonder God is still keeping him in the limelight,” he added.
