Improve on programmes to produce “problem-solving” graduates – Techiman Omanhene charges Universities in Ghana

Oseadeyor Akumfi Ameyaw iv, Omanhene of Techiman Traditional Area in the Bono East region has called on the various Universities in the country to improve on their courses or programmes in order to produce graduates who will come up with solutions to the numerous challenges bedeviling our nation.
It’s  sad but known reality that Ghana despite being blessed with all natural resources and can boost of several Internationally recognized Universities and other Tertiary institutions, our graduates are unable to produce or invent technologies to take care of the needs of our Citizenry but still rely on foreign imports from Europe, America, Asia etc.
Oseadeyor Akumfi Ameyaw made this observation in an interview with Asta Fm’s Nana Kwadwo Adu at his Palace when Professor Daniel Kwame Bediako Vice Chancellor of Valley View University led high-powered officials from their headquarters in Oyibi–Accra to visit their Campus in Techiman and paid a courtesy call on him.
Meanwhile, the Omanhene of Techiman commended the Adventist Church for their immense contribution to the development of Ghana especially Bono East region in areas of education, health and employment etc.
On his part, Professor E. B. Amponsah new Rector of Valley View University – Techiman Campus was grateful to Nananom for their perfect collaboration with the University to improve the human resource base of the Bono East region and Ghana at large.
