Kind courtesy , Hon.Kofi Adade, assembly member of Dadease electoral area in Sekyere Kumawu District in the Ashanti region , Kumasi Royal Club has donated items worth thousands of Ghana cedis to over 142 widows in Dadease community.
Speaking during the donation, Madam Catherine Korankye Eastwood, public relations officer of the club announced that they provided the support upon a formal request made by the assembly member for the area.
According to her ,it is an annual ritual of the club to always provide support to the needy in various societies.
She however appealed to others who are well endowed to support the needy and ensure that everyone becomes useful in the society.
Showing appreciation,all the Widows thanked the club and the assembly member for the support.
Hon.Kofi Adade is also a senior journalist working with Kumasi based Oyerepa fm.
