Uneasy traffic jam erupted at Airport roundabout-Krofrom highway in the Manhyia North Constituency of the Ashanti region when the United Progressive Party parliamentary candidate in the area embarked on a health walk to officially announce her candidature.
Numbering close to thousand with UPP party faithfuls,the walk was started from Sepe Buokrom through to Airport roundabout,then to Krofrom where vehicles were finding it difficult to ply the road due to human and vehicular traffic.
The entire constituents stormed the streets of Krofrom just to give their support to Nana Ama Achiaa Owusu ,(UPP PC) for the bold decision taken to represent the good people of Manhyia North after they have been decived by the various member of parliament,who are all from the ruling New Patriotic Party.
Led by Kenneth Nana Kwame Asamoah, Acting National Chairman of the party,UPP is determined to snatch three parliamentary seats in the Ashanti region come December,2020 general elections.
These seats are Asokwa,Manhyia North and Atwima Kwanwoma constituencies.
Party leaders were astonished about the number of people that followed the convoy amidst the walk.
